Thankyou.cards is a handwritten card service based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. We turn your real handwriting into a custom font, then write each card with a real pen on premium cardstock and mail it for you. Founded in 2025 by Chris Hauck and Jon Fox, we make truly authentic pen-to-paper cards possible for weddings, businesses, and every occasion worth a thank-you.
How it started
Thankyou.cards began inside another company. Chris and his wife had built Congress Letters, a service that helped people send physical letters to their elected representatives, because a real letter gets read in a way an email never does.
When Chris showed it to Jon, newly married and staring down a mountain of wedding thank-yous, the reaction was immediate: he would have paid for this exact thing, but for his guests. We had already spent five years building an app together and more than ten years as friends since meeting in Hoboken, so we knew how we worked together. We decided to take on thank-you cards.
It became much more than we anticipated that day.
We think a handwritten card should be something everyone sends regularly. The problem has never been the sentiment. It's the hours.

So we built the fastest, easiest way to send a card that is genuinely yours: your handwriting, a real pen, real ink on premium cardstock, signed, sealed, and mailed without you ever cramping a hand.
